Ukraine and Turkey intensified negotiations on Free Trade Agreement
The eighth round of negotiations on the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Turkish Republic was completed in Kyiv.
Ukraine and Turkey shared updated proposals on the liberalization rate of the markets of goods and services during this round of negotiations,. Parties actively discussed: access to agricultural and industrial goods markets, to the services markets, the definition of preferential rules of origin, e-commerce, the integration of the provisions of the Pan-Euro-Med Convention, the WTO Agreement on Trade Promotion.
During the eight months of 2017, export of goods to Turkey amounted $ 1.6 billion, and comparing to the same period in 2016, increased by 16.1%.
