Ukraine and Turkey have agreed to expand cooperation in agriculture
Arrangements between Ukraine and Turkey in agriculture have to support trade and economic relations both of sides and promote more active involvement of Ukrainian and Turkish companies for joint projects. This was stressed by Olga Trofimtseva (Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food) during the third meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish working group on agriculture.
“Ukraine is interested export of oils, including sunflower oil, meat and dairy products, eggs, poultry, fish and honey, fur material, grains, tobacco and products from it. Also interested trade and adapting of new varieties of seeds, including oilseeds, sunflower to Turkey “, – said Olga Trofimtseva.
Representatives both of sides agreed about common consultations of professionals from both countries. Turkey have interested in cooperation with the institutes of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Also, agreed organize Turkish-Ukrainian Agrarian Forum till the end of this year.
