The macroeconomic forecast of the Government for 2018-2020 has changed

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted changes in the main forecast indicators of economic and social development of Ukraine for 2018-2020.

According to analytical data from international markets, today international experts predict the price dynamics in 2018 for certain types of goods more restrainedly, in particular, iron ore, fertilizers and wheat.

According to the forecast, GDP of Ukraine growth is expected at 3% in 2018, in 2019 – 3.6%, in 2020 – 4%.

At the same time, the expected consumer price index (calculated December to December of the previous year) for 2018 is projected at 109%, 2019 – 106.5%, in 2020 – 105%.

According to the forecast, the unemployment rate will drop to 9.1% in 2018,  in 2019 – 8.9% and in 2020 – 8.5%.

It is expected that real wages growth will be 9.6% in 2018.
