The Free Trade Agreement with Canada entered into force
Today, on August 1, the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada came into force.
The Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada will open duty-free access to 98% of the commodity markets for Ukrainian exporters. At the same time, taking into account the different of economic and social development, the parties will apply the principle of asymmetry of obligations, which will allow Ukraine to adapt new conditions of trade with Canada to. Therefore, Ukraine will use the transition periods to complete liberalization of import duties.
