One of Turkish Airlines wants to open a subsidiary in Ukraine
One of Turkish Air Carriers may open in Ukraine subsidiary and intends to run in Ukraine domestic flights. Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan said this at the meeting with the EBA.
“We are working with the Turkish airline, which wants to open its subsidiary in Ukraine for regional transportation in Ukraine”, – said the Minister. Name of Airline the minister did not name.
Earlier, Mr. Omelyan declared negotiations with air carriers that might lead to Ukraine 5-7 aircraft.
In Turkey, there are more than 10 airlines. 4 of them flying In Ukraine: Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airlines, Onur Air and Atlasglobal.
Atlasglobal in 2014 created a Ukrainian subsidiary – “Atlasjet Ukraine”, later renamed to AtlasGlobal Ukraine. Airline focused on the regular and charter flights from Ukraine (Kharkov, Lvov, Zaporizhzhya) to Turkey.
