Ukraine has announced privatization

In 2017, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFU) has once again announced the privatization of state-owned shares of strategic companies in the Ukrainian economy, in particular, 99.6% of Odessa Portside Plant, 99.99% “Sumyhimprom”, 78.3% ” Centrenergo “, 75.22% ” Turboatom “. The Fund intends to put for privatization this year such major energy companies as, 70% of the shares “Khmelnitskoblenergo”, 70% “Nikolaevoblenergo”, 65% “Kharkivoblenergo”, 50.9% “Ternopiloblenergo”, 60% “Zaporizhiaoblenergo”, 46% “Cherkassyoblenergo” , 25% plus one share “Sumyoblenergo”, “Odessaoblenergo”, “DTEK Donetskoblenergo”, “Kyivenergo”, “DTEK Dneprooblenergo”, “DTEK Zakhidenergo”, “DTEK Dniproenergo”, “Donbassenergo”.

Moreover, SPFU plans to sell a 99.5% stake in the Ivano-Frankivsk Locomotive Repair Plant, 68% of the Zaporozhye aluminum plant production, 96.1% of the Ternopil radio plant “Orion”, 95% “Dneprometrobud”, 100% Gaivoronsky locomotive repair plant, 25% Dniprovskyi machine building plant.
