Harvest-2018: Agrarians harvested more than 43 million tons of grain

As of October 5, Ukrainian agrarians harvested 4.32 million tons of grain from an area of ​​11.5 million hectares (77%) with a yield of 37.7 c / ha.

There are:

– early grain and leguminous – 34.3 million tons from an area of ​​9.9 million hectares with a yield of 34.8 c / ha;

– corn – 8.3 million tons from an area of ​​1.4 million ha (30%) with a yield of 60.9 c / ha;

– buckwheat – 114 thousand tons with an area of ​​92 thousand ha (85%) with a yield of 12.4 c / ha;

– millet – 68 thousand tons from an area of ​​44 thousand hectares (85%) with a yield of 15.3 c / ha.

– sunflower – 10.3 million tons from an area of ​​4.7 million ha (78%) with a yield of 21.8 c / ha;

– soybeans – 2.3 million tons from an area of ​​932 thousand hectares (55%) with a yield of 25.0 c / ha;

– rapeseed – 2.7 million tons from an area of ​​1.0 million hectares with a yield of 26.1 c / ha.

– sugar beet 3.9 million tons from an area of ​​82 thousand hectares (29%) with a yield of 478 c / ha.

Also, the autumn sowing campaign is underway. Thus, farmers sowed 5.1 million hectares of winter grain crops (71%), with a projected area of ​​7.2 million hectares. In addition, winter rapeseed was sown on 987 thousand hectares (111%), with a projected area of ​​888 thousand hectares .
